SUMMER CAMP

Mother Love’s Future Farmers Camp is a 4 week summer farming camp for youth ages  9-12.  Our farmers camp 1# session starts June 3rd and runs until July 28th, 2024 Monday - Friday. Session 2# starts July 1st until July 26th. From 7 am-12 pm.

Our youth program is an immersive experience that exposes them to the entrepreneurial experience, hands-on activities and the spirit of volunteerism as they relate to farming.  They will gain valuable leadership and educational experience, and have opportunities to assist in growing fresh, healthy food for their community.  They will learn about nutrition, how to plant vegetables and how to grow in conjunction with nature.  One day each week they will tour and volunteer at another urban farm.

They are compensated with a $50 a week stipend and will complete Learn, Grow, Eat & Go Junior Master Gardener certification!

Upon receipt of your application, you will receive an interview date and additional information.  Upon completion of the interview process, you will receive a decision on your application.  Note:  Not all applicants are guaranteed an interview date.  Subject to quality of interview and spaces available.
